Fallen Earth’s anniversary was technically late last month but the patch is arriving as the devs put it “fashionably late” but such arguments about the late arrival is for sticklers the devs say. Today marks the updates official launch and with it comes anniversary events, economic changes and an upcoming feature that will allow you to customize your clothing appearance.Patch notes for the new changes have been posted with a summary on the Fallen Earth dev blog.

The first part of the update will include new live events for players to join in on. Essentially this is all boiling down to a battle royal between factions in New Flagstaff. The recruitment drive by faction leaders will begin in Sector 4 and progress to Sector 1. The event itself is a mix of PvP and PvE, allowing for both playstyles to enjoy the event in their own way. The update also brings the economic changes with changes to node placements, crafting recipe rebalance and more.

For those of a more fashionable eye, new Wardrobe Slots will soon be available for Reward Points. Wardrobe Slots will allow players to customize their character’s look with one set of gear while keeping the important benefits of their less attractive gear. The Wardrobe tab will be in the game after the update, but you won’t be able to put it to use until it goes live on October 12th.
