Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (FFXIV) Producer Naoki Yoshida delivered his 55th missive to the community this week to talk about planned improvements and future content for the game now that many of the capacity and data center issues have been addressed. With the first major update lingering around the corner, Yoshida touched on some of the things that players can expect to see in the future.

Just a few items being addressed include improvements to the endgame with additional ways to acquire tomes, fixing the problem with the fifth turn of the Binding Coil of Bahamut, the introduction of new daily quests and treasure hunts, new dungeons, and more. Additionally, a new salon feature will soon be added to allow players to re-customize the look of their characters.

Yoshida will also be hosting another "Live Letter from the Producer" liestream on Saturday, October 19th at 5:00am PT. Find out how to watch it and submit your questions to Yoshida here.
