Halloween is tomorrow and Red 5 Studios has launched a new update for Firefall players to enjoy over the holiday. The “Night of the Melding” event is now underway and will continue to run through November 14th. As part of the celebration festivities, a new warpaint system has been added along with spooky collectibles. Players can also purchase limited edition Halloween-themed items such as tombstones, invisibility-granting bat-bombs, skull & witch hats, and more throughout the event.

Red 5 has extended its offer for immediate beta access to founding members throughout the remainder of the event. You can learn more about becoming a founder on the Firefall website.

Additionally, Red 5 has released two new Halloween-themed short films on the Stage 5 TV YouTube channel. While not relating to Firefall, they're well worth a watch. Give them a look below. As for me, I think that Director Al Lougher may have just restored some of the dignity vampires lost to Twilight.

If you missed out on last week's Firefall Fest, be sure to get caught up here.
