On June 2 at noon Pacific Time (UTC‑7) the second Stronghold PvP Public Beta will go live. Available for only 24 hours, it's your opportunity to playtest this awesome new mode.

To get started in Stronghold, you’ll need to head to the Heart of the Mists, which can be accessed through the main portal in Lion’s Arch or through the PvP panel icon located at the top of your screen. Once you’re ready, queue for an Unranked Arena match. You’ll see Battle of Champion’s Dusk as the featured map; vote for it, hit “Accept” when your queue pops, and enjoy the battle! Conquest matches can still be played in Ranked Arena.

For the first time there will also be a new tournament showcasing the map with teams that sign up. I can't see any details as to where teams sign up, so it'll probably be the same teams we always see. I know ArenaNet are pushing this new mode and it is brilliant but the infrastructure surrounding its sPvP is so frustrating. I've been looking for a team for 8 months and between the terrible forum layout and no tools in game, there's no wonder it's always the usual offenders in tournaments. The details below are:

Europe: ESL Stronghold 5v5 Cup
