The Academy of the Interactive Arts & Sciences has posted its finalists list for the 8th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards. World of Warcraft is a finalist in three categories: Game of the Year, Computer Game of the Year and Massive Multiplayer/Persistent World Game of the Year .
