Fable developer Lionhead Studios is looking to hire a programmer for a new project and it appears to be an MMO.

The new job listing posted on the Microsoft Talent Network calls for a person that “enjoys playing MMO games and has significant experience with the workings of a massive online multiplayer environment. The role will focus on defining the high level network architecture for the project, security concerns, support for seamless post-launch updates, and implementation of server features.” The position also requires a minimum of 1 shipped MMO title as a Network Programmer.

While the name of the project remains a mystery, Lionhead’s most notable properties include the Fable and Black & White series.  So unless they have a new IP up their sleeve, we could possibly see one of those two getting the MMO treatment sometime in the future.
