Psylocke Coming to Marvel Heroes

Get Psyched: Psylocke Presale Hits Marvel Heroes

Of the entire gambit (bad pun fully intended) of characters in the extended Marvel universe, Psylocke has been a perennial favorite of mine. While she existed for quite while as a character, Chris Claremont eventually worked her into the X-Men storyline during one of my favorite runs in the mid-1980's. In particular, I have fond memories of the Mutant Massacre as it was well written, and evoked that same sense of doom from the Days of Future Past issues (the brillance of which is finally hitting the big screen).

Why am I babbling incessantly about all of this? Simple. I'm totally psyched because presales for Psylocke opened up today in Marvel Heroes.

Having been a favorite Marvel character, I've been patiently waiting for Psylocke to play a larger role in Marvel Heroes than a simple NPC you casually chat with once or twice as you scamper about.

The presale pack is currently 10% off its normal price (so currently $16.19) and the packs include the following:

  • Psylocke (playable of course)
  • 2 Costumes (Psylocke Classic Costume (Default), Psylocke X-Force Costume)
  • Psylocke Hero S.T.A.S.H. (extra Hero specific inventory)
  • 6x Fortune Cards (One each of Mark 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6)
  • 1 Retcon Device

As for the costumes, you can seem both of the pack includes below in all their glory:

Classic Costume

X-Force Costume

There's an interesting discussion brewing over on the Marvel Heroes forums on what fans think of the costume options (and the overall character render of Psylocke for that matter). Be sure to drop in and check it out, but first you'll want to do yourself a favor and hit the shiny link below to be whisked away to a magical land where you can pick up a Psylocke Presale Pack of your very own!
