Easy come, easy go. Players who took advantage of an instant reset of a World of Warcraft world quest to harvest millions of AP have had their fortunes reversed, according to a dev tweet over the weekend:

We'll be removing the AP earned from those who excessively abused this exploit.

"Excessive" abuse is open to interpretation - isn't abuse by its nature excessive? The Twitter peanut gallery seems to think so. As for RessyM, the unfortunate young woman who took the exploit to Twitter and was cited in the dev tweet - we imagine she'll be tweeting under a different username for a while.
