Undead Labs has opened up a bit more about their upcoming zombie-based console MMOG in a new Q&A. Questions covered a number of topics such as how the persistent world will function and how the game will play in comparison to an FPS or an RPG. The answers hint at a little of both, but with skill playing a larger part than simply leveling up as you do in most traditional MMOGs.

Fundamentally, combat is based on a player’s skill, but that still leaves plenty of room for some RPG-style advancement. As examples, things like character stamina (remember: Rule #1: Cardio), reload speed, and even how much running affects your accuracy are all on the table.

Some players might be wondering if they'll have the option to hop in a vehicle and mow down a horde of flesh-eating zombies. And this will be an option in the game that should make zombie fans extremely happy. Unless the car stalls out, but hey, it’s a horror game. Check out the full Q&A for all the details.
