Layoffs are a common occurrence in the gaming industry, so while it's unfortunate to hear about new studios suffering cutbacks, it's becoming less of a surprise in recent days, a sad fact in and of itself. According to a recent article at Massively, news has surfaced that City of Heroes (CoH) developer Paragon Studios has recently undergone a round of layoffs. The news comes on the heels of the recently launched CoH expansion, Going Rogue. How many people may have been laid off is unknown, but it's rumored that Christopher "Back Alley Brawler" Bruce, Senior Animation Lead for the studio is one of those impacted by the cutbacks.

As always our best wishes go out to those that may have been affected. Stay tuned and we'll update you when we have more.
