ProSiebenSat.1 Group, who also handles European publishing duties for Sony Online Entertainment titles, is expanding its gaming portfolio with the addition of online and mobile free-to-play publisher Aeria Games Europe through its subsidiary ProSiebenSat.1 Games. Aeria Games' list of published titles include such games as Aura Kingdoms, Wartune, Eden Eternal, Age of Conan: Unchained, F.E.A.R. Online, Need for Speed World, Last Chaos, and many others.

The agreement secures Aeria Games Berlin headquarters and all international game licenses for PC and certain mobile licenses, raising the company’s portfolio of titles from 19 to 39 and gives ProSieben access to over 77 million gamers, nearly three times its current 27 million playerbase.

The acquisition is pending approval by authorities, but once the deal goes through ProSieben plans to consolidate its game operations in Berlin under the new publishing brand of SevenGames. SevenGames will handle publishing duties in 35 countries, which include the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and several more.
