Samsung Electronics named main sponsor again.

Once again Samsung Electronics will be a major sponsor for the International eSports Conference, which takes place during the last week in May.

Berlin, 02.05.2008. The "International eSports Conference", which takes place on 27th and 28th May in Cologne, presents the South Korean hightech company Samsung Electronics, one of the world's greatest supplier of consumer electronic products, as a new main sponsor and partner.

"For Samsung Electronics, the promotion of new developments and sports is an important matter; thus, we deem it as a crucial task to take over responsibilites for such developments. The International eSports Conference has become the most important discussion platform relating to eSports and we are looking forward to participating this year again", explains Michael Müller, Group Leader Corporate Marketing at Samsung Electronics.

This year's speakers at the ESCONF include Konstantin Ewald (Osborne Clarke), Ibrahim Mazari (Turtle Entertainment) and Rolf Kretschmann (Stuttgart University). The final panel discussion of the ESCONF will feature representatives of European eSports associations discussing potential developments within eSports in Europe.
