Sony Online Entertainment’s (SOE) publishing deal with ProSiebenSat.1 to handle the European operations of eight of their titles that included titles such as EverQuest II, DC Universe Online and several others, made quite a stir with the community when it was revealed that the US and EU server populations would be segregated.

Following a strong vocal opposition from the community, SOE worked out a new deal with ProSiebenSat.1 to help accommodate players. A new updated FAQ has been posted with details about the deal, the most notable change being that players in both EU and the US will be able to play on each other’s servers. Part of the deal will still require EU players to make a ProSiebenSat.1 to play, but they'll have the benefit of having their Station Cash converted to a new currency and the option to keep playing on your chosen server. More details on the specifics of that will be revealed at a later date, but for now, you can read up on all the latest info via the official FAQ.
