There's been a lot of talk about what kind of pricing model DC Universe Online will be using at launch and Massively today contacted an SOE spokesperson and confirmed that it will be a subscription-based game as many had expected. An SOE spokesperson confirmed that the model will be the standard $14.99 per month and the PC version of the game will retail for $49.99, while the PS3 version will carry a suggested retail of $59.99. What role microtransactions will play if any in the model has not been yet been confirmed. Stay tuned and we'll update you when more news becomes available.
