The Division has been steadily generating momentum with it's promise of a dilapidated New York full of loot for you to pillage. The story revolves around a major virus that used the crowded stores on Black Friday to quickly spread through the global population, erasing a large portion of it and leaving large swaths of territory contaminated with the disease. As an agent you are responsible for restoring order to these areas which have largely been taken over by gangs that prey on survivors for resources.

The previous two betas that the Division has launched have put up some pretty big numbers. If that's any indication of who purchased the game (the last beta was open) then expect to see a lot of agents running around the Dark Zone on day one. The lack of new content for one of the Division's big competitors Destiny, could also push players looking for something new out of that game and into a new pile of loot.

You can start playing the Division if you've got it pre-installed at 12am EST tonight.
