City raids in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning are nothing new and have been consistently attempted since right after launch. What was different about this weekend? The invading force managed to take down the top raid boss in Altdorf, Karl Franz. In what certainly was an epic battle, the guilds behind it certainly deserve the respect of being first.

"Destruction on K8P captured Karl?!?" This was all I heard at Mythic on Monday. What an achievement and almost exactly on schedule with our predictions! We have been watching and waiting for it to happen, and are very excited that the players finally pulled it off.

We learned a lot from watching you all beat the encounter (as people scurry off to find out why Karl was able to be CC’ed) and I am sure you will find the last stage of his encounter a little more challenging next time when you can't slow him down quite so much...
