Dogs are wonderful creatures (I should know, I recently got one myself) and puppies are especially adorable, even infernal ones. Blizzard is keen to get World of Warcraft players to adopt Core Hound Puppies in 2011. With this in mind, the company has launched a year long campaign to get more players their own two-headed friend and offering the chance for two people a month to win and iPad. Even better, you’ll also have the knowledge that your awesome new Cataclysm loot, gold and pet collection is protected.

How do you do it? Well first you get an authenticator. You can get a free mobile version for most mobile phones (check here) or hit the App Store or Android Marketplace. Don’t have a phone? You can also buy one from the Blizzard Store. Then all you need to do is take a “funny, cute, or just plain epic” screenshot of your Pup and submit it here. The contest runs to the end of the year so break out your Core Hound and get snapping!
