Following on the successful launch of World of Warcraft: Rage of the Firelands, Blizzard has made some interesting announcements.

The first concerns trial accounts. Traditionally limited to fourteen days, this time limit has now been removed. You’re still only able to play to level 20 and all the other restrictions still apply, you can just play for as long as you want.

The second announcement concerns vanilla WoW. Anyone who has purchased the game at anytime will automatically gain access to TBC content, free of charge. If you’ve just started playing, this is a great way to incite players to keep playing into Outland. All this said, I still think this would have been a move better made when Cataclysm launched but still, great news.
