If there’s one thing I’ve learnt in my years of playing World of Warcraft, it’s that the game is all about Thrall. Yes, there are other characters but he is the star, the poster-Orc if you will for one of the world’s biggest MMO franchises.

So it’s not unsurprising that Blizzard has begun a new series focusing on the changing faces of Azeroth’s movers and shakers with the former Warchief himself. It’s quite interesting actually and includes concept art and renders of Thrall’s changing appearance. I must admit, his new shammy garb is really growing on me, even if I’m a staunch Alliance player. Blizzard are promising other famous faces will follow in future, including Anduin Wrynn, Garrosh and Magni Bronzebeard so keep your eyes peeled.
