A bit of amazing news today, with everything going on with players here getting so excitided about Cataclysm coming, it's hard to believe that players in China don't even have legal access to WotLK yet.

Despite having an audience here in China that makes up half of its international player base, Blizzard Inc. has had little luck getting its popular expansion of the World of Warcraft franchise onto Chinese shores... until now! That's right, Chinese WoW players, you can now FINALLY play the Wrath of the Lich King expansion - almost two years after it first came out everywhere else.

Seeing this makes me extremely happy that I live in a free country (Canada)! I expect our US readers are happy too since they live in an almost free country. Sorry had to get in a friendly cross border jab, we're both pretty equal in freedoms.

It is simply hard to fathom that so much of the worlds population lives someplace where they can not even play their game of choice without the government stepping in. Wow, and we thought we hard it rough with ESRB ratings...

You can read the entire article about it here: World of Warcraft's "Wrath of the Lich King" expansion FINALLY approved.
