When people think of the Phantasy Star roleplaying games, it's fairly common to think of the old RPG series that helped bring the Sega Genesis to prominence. However, the game has been alive and kicking long since then with a major group of players following the recently released Phantasy Star Universe. Released in August 2006, PSU is the sequel to Phantasy Star Online, the first online version of the game. While PSU may be only a year old, an expansion is already in the works titled Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus.
