Q: What is "Age of Conan?"
A:
"Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures" is a Massively Multiplayer Online Game developed by Funcom. It takes place in Robert E. Howard's (author of "Conan of Cimmeria" novels) fictional world of Hyboria. It features a single player portion of the game, gradually leading characters eventually to a complete massively multiplayer experience. It also contains an all-new combat system never before seen in a MMOG, along with Guild Keeps and cities, Siege combat (PvP) and bar brawls (PvP).

Q: What platforms will the game be on?
A:
The game is currently available on PC and will be released for the Xbox 360 at a later date. Currently the Xbox 360 version is not high on the priority list according to Jørgen Tharaldsen in an Interview with StrateguInformer.com

Robert E. Howard created a fictional character in his books in the 1930’s. Since then the Conan universe has expanded to movies, more books, and comics. Q: How true does the game stay to Conan lore?
A:
Funcom has gone to great lengths to ensure the game is true to the Conan lore. There are people on the development team specifically to oversee the accuracy of the lore in the game.

Yes. Conan is the king of Aquilonia in the game and you will be able to meet him in the capitol city of Tarantia.

Yes. You will encounter many of the characters from the books and comics in the game such as the evil sorcerer Thoth Amon.

Q: What kinds of servers are available for gameplay?
A:
The game has both PvE (Player vs. Environment), PvP (Player vs Player) and RPvP servers (Roleplaying and Player vs Player), and Culture PvP servers. On a PvE server, player versus player combat is only available in the Border Kingdom and PvP games in the arena.

A:
Staying true to the books of Robert E. Howard, the game is brutal, violent and mature in theme. There is blood and gore as well as some sexuality and mature themes. There are also fatality moves, which can be pretty graphic, such as decapitation.
