Q:
Are there any
restrictions on what you can equip on your character?
A: Yes. Your feats determine what type of armor and
equipment you can wear
and wield. Your class also defines these limitations, as not all feats
are
available to all classes.

Q:
Is there item
decay?
A: No. Items do not decay over time.

Q:
Can you make your
own equipment?
A: Yes. There are several crafting options to create your
own sets of armor
and weapons and other equipment. Player-crafted equipment is also the
only equipment
that has slots for gems that increase the equipment’s power.

Q:
Do item statistics
matter? Isn’t combat all about player skill?
A: While the mechanics of combat is very much all about
player skill, the
numbers are generated by the type of equipment you are using. So while
you can
still hit with a twig or a mighty sword; when you make contact, the
sword’s
going to do more damage.

Q:
Are there any race
restrictions on equipment?
A: No. The restrictions are based on the feats you have
available to you.
While different equipment from different areas will have different
looks and
functionality, your race will not determine whether or not you can
equip it.
