38 Studios Presentation at NY Comic-Con Video

Over the past year, the developers at 38 Studios have been toiling away at their secret project, codenamed "Copernicus." Building a massively multiplayer online game from the ground up is no easy task, and the Ten Ton Hammer staff has been tracking the team's progress from day one. In their most recent appearance at the New York Comic-Con, the 38 Studios team - represented by Steve Danuser, Rich Gallup, Scott Cuthbertson, and Jeff Murchie - gave a presentation to a room full of rabid fans eager to hear more about the game. Despite political backlash and grumblings, Curt Schilling has managed to push through the Rhode Island deal and secure a $75 million financing package for 38 Studios in conjunction with the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation.

38 Studios is officially on its way to Rhode Island. After a rather controversial few months of dealing with criticism over the multimillion dollar loan deal that persuaded 38 Studios founder Curt Schilling to make the move, it seems that the studio has made its decision and finally settled on a new location.
