Age of Conan Game Guide: Levels 1-5

Ya Gotta Start Somewhere!

One of the unique features about Age of Conan is its introduction to the game. Players start off in a single player game, being cast directly into the middle of a deep, rich story line. Over the past few months, we've seen much about this single player portion of the game, but never a complete guide filled with details and screenshots... until now. Join us as Ten Ton Hammer walks through levels one to five in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.

CAUTION: Quest and lore information contained within!

After you have chosen and customized your character, you will find yourself face-down on a beach. A man by the name of Kalanthes will approach you.

He'll tell you that you have landed on the Island of Tortage, in the Barachan Isles, west of Hyboria. You have been shipwrecked, and the slavemaster that held you captive on the ship has already begun his way to the city of Tortage. The city is unwelcoming of slaves, and if the slavemaster were to reach it first, you would end up being stuck outside, and left to die in the jungle.

yeah when I saw this get posted I was thinking to myself "Umm you could completely ignore the bad dudes' shields and melee your way through as any class" Anyway not to be a douche, but I was thinking of sumbmitting a guide entitled "Choosing your character's gender".
