Vanguard Poll: Party of Conformity: Healers

Posted May 9th, 2008 by Shayalyn

I'm for the All-Cleric Group

Game play within Vanguard: Saga of Heroes generally encourages not only grouping, but also gathering a traditional group of tank, healer, crowd control, and nukers. Non-traditional groups have proven they can do well in the past, so Dalmarus has brought the topic to its extreme in an effort to see just which class has got what it takes to ignore all others.

A single Blood Mage by itself is a force to be reckoned with. Now imagine a full group of six Blood Mages working in unison. Yeah, I shivered for a moment too.

Though I think all of these in a group would work well, I chose the Desciple due to FD. I don't think anyone could outlast the clerics or out dps the BM and I'm totaly in the dark on the Shamy.

In the end it came down to FD.

But dang, six BMs would be sick!

Cleric.

If u get each cleric with a different spec and set with nice equipment for that u can have a really nice party there...
Full armored war clerics tank, death cleric (maybe with spell dmg oriented gear) nukes, and peace and preservation clerics heal and cc...

Dal, I gotta admit there was some interesting things I didn't agree with in the article, but unfortunately I am too pooped to go into them right now.

I will just say that unless you have played a BMG or are close to someone who does, chances are you have no idea the potential of what a few BMG can do together. Hell even a BMG has no idea how well he/she can play with another (I got that first experience recently while testing changes on the Test server with another...it was insane) but si...

LOL.

Just do me a favor and keep in mind that the only class I really know a lot about is the necromancer, so don't be too harsh, hehe.

All the rest is what I can gather from trying the others out (normally only until about level 14), the info I read on the boards, or what I can piece together from the spell lists.

I'm just one man!

And yeah, I voted for the Blood Mage. I've said it since the last days of beta and in my opinion, it's still true - I'll take a well played Blood Mage over ...

LOL, got the Pope ready rumble on this one.
