We've all been waiting for Lord of the Rings: Shadows of Angmar (LOTRO) for a long time. A very long time! Ralsu takes a look at how companies announce games earlier and earlier these days, and how many mainstream fans have grown weary during the three years of waiting for LOTRO.

"Turbine and Vivendi first announced LOTRO in May of 2003! Since then, the game that was once one of the most anticipated of 2004 became and exciting prospect for 2005 and a distant hope for 2006.
