With both the charm you obtained from Cha and the strange notes you found in Tuthnemtip's abode you make your way back to Kalanthes in the hills east of Kheshatta at coordinates: 1070, 705. Since you're unable to decipher the notes yourself, you're hoping that Kalanthes will be able to translate them, as they could very well hold the key to breaching Thoth-Amon's defenses.

Thankfully, Kalanthes is able to understand enough of what's written in the notes to discover information that's vital to your plans. It appears Tuthnemtip has been investigating a strange source of power emanating from behind a cracked wall within the chambers beneath Kheshatta where he discovered a much larger, secret chamber.

It's also discovered that what Thoth-Amon has been tearing Hyboria apart to find is a series of six stone tablets – it's those tablets that he's used to both summon and control the Grim Grey God. If the chaos god is to be destroyed, to do so will require that the tablets which contain it's true name be destroyed.

To help you reach the secret chamber and put an end to the Grim Grey God, thus thwarting Thoth-Amon's plans to resurrect the ancient wizard empire of Acheron, Kalanthes wants you to use the Charm of Protection and make your way through the Onyx Chambers beneath Kheshatta.
