Starr Long discusses the latest Tabula Rasa update and Operation Immortality.

Tabula Rasa has received considerable attention lately for both good and "other" reasons. In Starr Long's developer corner released today, he discusses how development is in full swing. Deployment 11 is the latest iteration to be released for Tabula Rasa and it went live last week. The new player experience has been completely reworked and upgraded. At the other end of the level-spectrum, the level 50 and up crowd get a new instance to tear apart.

Unless you have been living under a rock or at Fan Faire (like some) you probably haven't missed the "Me Too" line of celebrities queuing up to be part of Operation Immortality. Yesterday gold medalist Scott Johnson added his name to the list. Starr discusses how the popularity of Operation Immortality has brought new gamers into the fold and the way in which the development team wove OI into the game:

"In conjunction with Operation Immortality we've also added a lot of related content, including fictional back-story featuring Richard Garriott's October 12 flight to the International Space Station (ISS) and subsequent discovery of a wormhole. Players can take a somewhat low-level mission called "Time Capsule", as well as one of five "Soyuz Salvage" missions from a variety of areas (depending on your level)."
