Black Orc Guide
Overview: In the Warhammer universe, few things are as intimidating as a Black Orc.These mountains of solid muscle are dedicated to one thing in their lives. Fighting stronger opponents. What makes a Black Orc even more intimidating is that the only way they stop getting bigger is if they are defeated by a tougher opponent (Grimgor Ironhide, a Black Orc Warlord, is almost 15 feet in height!). With so much sheer physical power and intimidation behind them, it's no wonder that the Black Orc is shaping up to be one of the more popular classes in Warhammer Online:Age of Reckoning.

wif a serious pair of tusks! Dem needs a Black Orc!”

Armed and armored to fight in the thick of melee as a warrior and tanker, the Black Orc matches physical hardiness with a down and dirty brawler’s fighting style that makes him the heart of any war band. With choppa and shield in hand, he can face down any foe unshaken. However, it is his unique approach to fighting that makes him as deadly with his fists as with either of those tools. He’ll knock you down so you can’t fight back, and then kick you while you’re down. There’s no honor among Greenskins, and there’s no such thing as a fair fight – and that’s the way he likes it!
The Black Orc dominates PvE opponents through outlasting them in battle and being able to take on multiple targets at a time. With possibly the most hit points of any class in the game, plus heavy armor for better mitigation, you'll be able to wade into the thick of whatever quest you're doing at the time and not even think twice about it. With a few good healing potions, you can take on Champion class foes a level or two below you and hold out long enough to win. Get a healer to follow you around and you can do whatever your green little heart desires because there's very few things that will be able to handle you.
In a group, the Black Orc is the tank. End of story, good night, pass your test papers to the front. With their ability to soak all sorts of damage and taunt, they're the stuff that healers dream about. This will also free up your healers for a little extra DPS and DeBuff support, since they can take their eyes off "Tiny" for a bit longer.
Black Orc is latin for "unstoppable force"... well, almost. These guys are the toughest opponents you'll find out there. The only thing that can stop them is a few Ranged DPS or a Ranged DPS located in a strategic position, because if he has access to you, the Black Orc player will likely have enough hit points and damage mitigation to reach you before you kill him. Get a group of these guys in an organized RvR force and you've got serious trouble on your hands. Get that healer following you around from the PvE overview and no one (or two or three) can stop you, unless they stop the healer first
This Path of Mastery has one purpose. To make you nothing short of just
plain gross. This path of mastery enhances your DPS, making your fight
shorter, thus allowing you to move on to your next fight, thus making
you a better Orc. And in the end, isn't that what we really want in the
world? more Black Orcs with higher DPS capability? In order to reach
your full potential in this path though, you'll have to let go of your
love affair with the shield because "two 'ands is better fo' choppin'!"
Path of 'Da Toughest: A This Path of Mastery focuses on out lasting your opponents... well, even more than you usually do. The follower of the path of 'da toughest believes that unlike "'da brawler", using a shield is the best way to live longer. It enhances your defenses and takes you into the Twilight Zone of toughness with the idea that the one left standing at the end of the fight is the true winner.
Path of 'Da Boss: A This Path of Mastery is about bossing people around... sort of. If you're an Orc, and you want to lead, then this is the path for you. It's filled with group support buffs and enhancements for the "bellows" line. This path allows yuo to make the team stronger, thus making you successful, and preparing you to lead you own WAAAGH!! someday. *sniff* They grow up so fast.
