Yes to Buffy, No to Firefly

This makes for many a Sad Panda

From the world of TV shows turning into MMORPGS,The Metaverse is apparently busy shifting its priorities. While we've been aching for news of the Firefly MMO that was announced back in 2006, Buffy seems to have presented itself as a stronger IP since the Buffy MMO has now been announced, while the Firefly MMO has been put on hold.

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think this is the correct view of things. I have a unique perspective, since I seem to be the only gamer on the face of the earth who hasn't seen either TV series. The response I get from friends trying to convince me to see Firefly is usually more visceral than those of the Buffy fans. And besides, I thought we were past the emo stage, where it would be a game goal to be angst, personified.

*shrug* Just my observations.
