No annoucement, but job descriptions are very telling...

A sharp person on the Lord of the Rings Online forums spotted a job posting for a Senior UI Engineer by Turbine Entertainment. The job posting specifically is looking for:

"...Currently Turbine is poised for unprecedented growth and we are seeking uniquely talented individuals to join us on our mission to create the next generation of online entertainment that unifies the best of massively multiplayer online games, virtual worlds and social networks on and across both PC and Console platforms.

Turbine is looking for a senior-level engineer to be part of a team that will bring the user interfaces of our massively multiplayer titles to the next level. This engineer may be refactoring existing user interfaces or implementing completely new user interfaces for systems such as combat, skills, inventory, treasure, and social systems..."

Notice the parts on there about Console platforms and refactoring existing user interfaces? Sounds like Turbine is busy making their game the first true console MMO.
