Posted Thu, Oct 02, 2008 by Medeor

Party like rock stars as Richard flies to the stars.

Tabula Rasa's Richard Garriott is going into space, but you may have to set your alarm if you want to watch it live. Unless of course you're still online and then you can just alt-tab over and check it out. The launch is scheduled for October 12th at 3am Eastern (adjust accordingly for your time zone). In addition to the web feeds, those of you in Austin can partake in a pre-launch party:

If you're going to be up and around in Austin Saturday night into Sunday morning, the space watch party will be held at Opal Divine's Penn Field restaurant on 3601 S. Congress Avenue. The festivities start with live music by The Echo Vine at 11PM, with pre-launch activities starting at 12:30AM and the launch scheduled for 2AM local time. You must be 21 or over to attend.

For more information like the websites for the launch feeds, go to Tabula Rasa's news page.
