Boss - Specter of Chieftain Olgudach
(Level 50)
Location: (633,251)
Olgudach can summon level 48 Conriocht Elites to aid him in battle and believe me he's not afraid to. Chances are you will be facing anywhere from 2-4 of them as soon as you attack. Have crowd control on stand by as you will need it for this fight. Once you kill the initial adds he won't summon more for a while, but if the fight goes on too long, expect to see aother wave. You will likely get Lycanthropic Disease (-5% damage modifier for 5 minutes) by one of the adds again. Olgudach deals slash damage mostly, but he also has a skill called Cripple which gives you a -30% damage modifier debuff. So between that and Lycanthropic Disease you can have as much as a 35% reduction in your damage output. Olgudach does have two other very annoying skills. The first is his Life Leech which he will use to siphon life from one of your group members to heal himself. The other is his teleport. He will bounce all over the place while you're fighting him so make sure you kill any nearby adds unless you want even more to join this already large fight.
Known Loot:
Pathfinder Jerkin
Windsoul Bracers
Quenching Quilted Cloak
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter of Chieftain Enfreth (Level 50)
Location: (472,301)
Enfreth is one of the lesser challenges in the area. He deals slash damage and has the Crush attack that deals a strait shot of moderate crush based damage. Enfreth also uses Lifetap to siphon health from a member of your group to replenish his own. He uses this Lifetap ability pretty frequently so make sure you have enough damage and healing to keep up. Otherwise this guy might outlast you by sucking the life right out of your group.
Known
Loot:
Backbreaker
Heretic's Girdle
Corybantic Leggings
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter of Chieftain Fidaich (Level 50)
Location: (439,235)
Fidaich attacks only with his bow and deals pierce based damage. Luckily, this fight takes place in a rather remote section so adds shouldn't be a problem. He does have one spell you need to be aware of before attacking. Ghostly Rain/Righteousness, is a direct damage spell he has that deals a fair amount of holy based damage to the target. This fight shouldn't be too difficult for a decent group as he doesn't have a huge arsenal of attacks to hit you with. Just be mindful of his holy damage spell and your group will have little trouble with this one. His remote location is also a perfect fighting spot to avoid getting those pesky adds.
Known Loot:
Watchman's Circlet
Compendium of Many Hurts
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss - Specter of Chieftain Gailtram
(Level 50)
Location: (470,175)
Gailtram enjoys casting and using melee attacks in combination. His melee is mostly slash based damage, but he does have the Crush skill that allows him to deal a moderate single crush based attack. He also has some familiar spells such as Ghostly Rain which deals holy damage to its target. Gailtram also has the Lifetap ability which he will use to siphon health from members of your group to heal himself during the battle. Make sure you bring some damage dealers and healers for this fight as a shortage of either can make this fight last a good long time.
Known
Loot:
Vindicator Chestguard
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter of Chieftain Giron (Level 50)
Location: (514,188)
Giron is a necromancer class of boss. He will make use of magical based attacks like Blasphemous Ruin, Flesh to Worms, Pestilential Blast, Ghostly Rain, and everybodies favorite, FEAR! This boss is in a tricky location as there are many patrols that roam the area. If you can, it's best to take these out before attacking. However, there is at least one add you will get the boss with regardless. When you attack, expect to get Fear cast on your group quite often. Plan for this in the event of respawns so you don't get blindsided by a Fear induced train. Unholy and holy invulnerabilities will be useful for this fight as all of this boss' attacks are holy and unholy based. Have your tanks use Intractable Mind Stratagem to aid in reducing fear effects.
Known Loot:
Twighlight Belt
Pathfinder Armbands
Focusing Silver Necklace
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter of Chieftain Iogenan (Level 50)
Location: (575,162)
Iogenan is very fond of lightning based attacks. He primarily casts Lightning Strike, but he also has Lifetap to siphon health from your group to heal himself. This boss also has the Cripple skill which gives you a -30% damage modifier debuff. Perhaps his most annoying skill is his ability to teleport. This can cause a lot of problems in the area he is located in. There are many patrols and spawns near this boss making the likelihood of adds problematic. To avoid a possible disaster, be sure you kill any enemies nearby, but be prepared for respawns as it's very likely you will get one before you down this boss.
Known
Loot:
Wildsoul Harness
Dark Ember Wristbands
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Leif the Lost Undead (Level 48)
Location: Roams between coordinates (723,582) to (697,520)
Leif to put it mildly is a wimp. He is a pure tank and spank encounter with very little strategy required to defeat him. Simply have your healers heal and beat him down until he dies...again. Leaf's only real skill is a cripple which will decrease your damage modifier by 20% for up to 7 seconds. He deals crush damage with his attacks and has a fairly quick attack speed. Aside from that, Leif doesn't have much else to attack with.
Known Loot:
Windsoul Boots
Mighty Metal Targe
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss - Ymirish Commander (Level 45)
Location: (793,449)
The Ymirish Commander has two guards with him. One is a level 45 bear and the other is a level 45 Vanir Pathfinder. With proper crowd control you can probably manage to split them up and make this battle a lot easier, otherwise you will need to deal with all three at once. This boss will summon two level 45 Vanir Graverobber minions to aid him in battle, so you may start with five enemies off the get go depending on your groups crowd control abilities. The Ymirish Commander deals slash damage with his regular attacks, but he also has the Crush ability that allows him to deal a strait shot of moderate crush based damage to his target. To add to his list of skills that might hurt you is his Cripple, which will decrease your damage modifier by -30% for up to 9 seconds. He also has a spell called Shield of Retribution that gives him a damage shield for 10 seconds that will reflect damage back at the attacker. Keep an eye on this if your health gets low as you could potentially kill yourself by hitting him. The Commander also has a cold based attack called Frost Wave that deals a moderate amount of frost damage. The last of his skills is called Exposing Barrage. This is a debuff that will decrease its target's slash, crush, and pierce invulnerabilities by -4% for 15 seconds.
Known
Loot:
Twighlight Hood
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Balki Wolfmaster (Level 45)
Location: (792,451)
Balki has two level 45 wolves called Rippers that are with him and without crowd control you will get all three when you attack. This boss will also summon 2 level 45 Vanir Graverobber minions giving you possibly five enemies to deal with from the start. Balki is fond of lightning based attacks such as Storm Field which he casts quite regularly. When he's not casting, he deals slash damage with his regular attacks and he also has the Crush skill that allows him to deal a moderate shot of crush damage to a target. Balki also has the Cripple ability which will decrease his target's slash, pierce, and crush invulnerabilities by -4% for 15 seconds. The last attack in Balki's arsenal is Rend. This is an attack that deals slash damage over time to its target. This enemies skill can prove to be a challenge to an even level group, but one of the toughest challenges you might face with this fight is the possibilities for adds. The surrounding area has a lot of patrol mobs as well as spawns near the boss himself. Slay them all before you attack, and if possible, pull the boss out of the area to a less populated space.
Known Loot:
Watchman's Boots
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Lupine Superior (Level 46)
Location: (899,583)
Lupine will summon two level 46 Diseased Wolf minions when attacked. These minions are pretty weak and shouldn't be much of a problem. Lupine's attacks deal crush based damage which shouldn't be surprising if you have been following the track record with wolves and werewolves in this guide. Lupine can summon more than two minions, but he will only summon 2 at a time. During my fight he summoned four sets of minions each with only two wolves each time.
Known
Loot:
Brimstoned Wristbands
Imbued Canvas Cloak
Boss
- Vanir Headman (Level 46)
Location: (1005,383)
The Headman will summon between 2-4 level 46 Vanir Invader minions when you attack him. He deals slash damage and his only other offensive attack is Crush, which allows him to perform an attack dealing a strait shot of moderate crush based damage. He only has one other skill he uses way too much and that is our old friend, FEAR! You didn't think we had run out of mobs that love to send you running through enemy infested areas in a panic now did you? In any case, the trick to this guy is disposing of his adds and avoiding a train when you get feared. Take out any nearby enemies and you should be able to avoid that minor issues as this guy is really a pushover.
Known Loot:
Corybantic Gauntlets
Vindicator Vambraces
Traveler's Tanned Fauld
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Ymirish Seidir (Level 46)
Location: (1020,414)
Seidir summons two level 46 Ymirish Invader minions when attacked. However, after the first initial summon, he doesn't usually summon any more. His attacks are necromantic in nature as he uses Blasphemous Ruin, Flesh to Worms, Pestilential Blast, and of course, we can't forget our old friend Fear. The magic attacks from this enemy can hurt, so make sure you bring some allies capable of healing.
Known
Loot:
Eidolon's Pants
Eidolon's Armbands
Glacial Silver Braid
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Yukagi Alpha Wolf (Level 46)
Location: (985,360)
This boss will summon three level 46 Young Yukagi Wolves when you attack. Luckily, they aren't very tough, but if you don't clear out the adds in the area before attacking you may bite off a lot more than you can chew. Keeping with the odd tradition of strange damage types as it relates to wolves in this area, the Yukagi Alpha Wolf will deal crush damage with his standard attacks. Maybe he has some brass knuckles on those claws or something. Aside from the minions he really doesn't have any other attacks. Simply eliminate the enemies in the area and kill his minions and you won't have any trouble with this boss. He really doesn't have anything that can hurt an even minimally effective group.
Known Loot:
Shadowsin Treads
Revitalizing Bronze-studded Tasset
Imbued Canvas Cloak
Boss - Brigand Philipus (Level 46)
Location: (1193,264)
Brigand Philipus will summon two minions and 2-4 level 48 Atzel Marauders when attacked. Crowd control is advised for this fight as you could be facing anywhere from 4-8 enemies when you attack depending on how your luck is. At one point during one of my battles with this boss I had as many as 10 enemies, including a couple of respawns. Aside from adds and minions the only attack Brigand Philipus has is his Crush ability which allows him to deal a moderate crush based attack to a single target. His normal attacks deal slash, but your only issue with killing this guy will be adds. Just be careful when pulling him and make sure you eliminate any enemies nearby. There is a great place to pull him to and avoid any respawn adds just to the south of his spawn point. The area is on the hillside on the outskirts of his camp.
Known
Loot:
Twighlight Tunic
Eidolon's Armbands
Glacial Silver Braid
Zephyrous Girdle
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss - Outlaw Henricus (Level 47)
Location: (1221,260)
Henricus will summon two level 47 Atzel Smuggler minions when attacked. He will also have one Level 47 Atzel Marauder standing near him so when you attack expect at least three mobs. There are a few mobs that patrol this area and may come by Henricus' spawn point so you may want to clear out the area and pull Henricus to another location to avoid any unwanted surprises. Henricus deals slash damage with his primary attacks, but he also has the Crush ability that deals a direct shot of moderate crush based damage to a single target.
Known Loot:
Dark Ember Boots
Traveler's Bronze-studded Tasset
Coin: 3-7 Silver
Boss
- Outlaw Tobias (Level 47)
Location: (1297,278)
Outlaw Tobias has two level 47 Atzel Summoners right next to him so expect to get those unless you have some decent crowd control. When you attack Tobias, he will summon two level 47 Atzel Smuggler minions to add to your trouble giving you a possible minimum of four enemies to deal with. Tobias deals crush damage with his standard attacks and casts the spell Storm Field quite a bit. Aside from that, he just has the Crush skill. If you can deal with the initial add wave that comes when you first attack him you have this fight won so long as you don't get carelessly sloppy. The only other thing to watch out for is the occasional patrol.
Known
Loot:
Dark Ember Pants
Mighty Silver Braid
Coin: 2-7 Silver
Boss
- Sister of Ursidae (Level 47)
Location: (1139,494)
One might expect a bear to excel at dealing slash and piece damage. However, this one, like all the wolves and werewolves in the area, didn't get that memo. Instead, this boss deals crush damage with its standard attacks. Sister does have one attack that can stun you for a few seconds. The only other skill big sister has is a knockback ability which can ground you for a couple of seconds if it lands. Other than that this encounter is pure tank and spank.
Known Loot:
Coin: 2-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter Warlord (Level 46)
Location: (1002,1083)
The Specter Warlord is near the entrance to Toirdealbach's Tomb. This boss will summon two level 50 Spectral Apparition minions when attacked. He attacks with his bow so most of his damage is pierce based. However, he will make use of an electrical based damage spell called Electrifying Blast. Surprisingly, he doesn't cast this too often. Eliminate the nearby mobs before attacking to avoid any unnecessary trouble.
Known
Loot:
Beatific Tasset
Revitalizing Tanned Jerkin
Coin: 2-7 Silver
Boss
- Specter of Chieftain Flann (Level 46)
Location: (883,1020)
Flann will summon two level 50 Spectral Apparition minions when attacked. His primary attacks are slash damage in nature, but he also has the Crush ability that allows him to deal a single target shot of direct crush based damage. Flann also uses an electrical based spell called Storm Field and a cold based spell called Grip of Winter. Luckily, the location you find this boss in doesn't have very many adds and almost no patrol mobs. His magical based attacks are your only real challenge, but a good group shouldn't have a too hard a time bringing him down.
Known Loot:
Brimstoned Robe
Brimstoned
Gloves
Coin: 2-7 Silver
Boss - Specter Warchief (Level 46)
Location: (888,979)
The Warchief will summon two level 50 Spectral Apparition minions when attacked. This boss deals slash damage with his basic attacks, but he also has the Crush ability that has proved to be almost as famous as Fear in this region. One spell he uses is a form of crowd control called Word of Command. This roots the target in place for up to 4 seconds. Since there is the possibility of getting respawns and even patrols when fighting this boss it is best to pull him just to the west behind the rock you find him at. If you can get him there you won't have to worry about the respawns or patrols.
Known
Loot:
Heretic's Gauntlets
Brimstoned
Gloves
Eidolon's Sash
Coin: 2-7 Silver
