E'rebody Gonna Be Aight!

Community Relations Specialist Samera  clears up some confusion
over the Favor bonus that will take effect after the release of Module
3:

To clear up the confusion - after Module 3 launches the
current plan
(subject to change of course) is that once you have 1750 total favor
you will be given the ability to create 32-point non-drow
characters (instead of the normal 28-point buy).

Remember this doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be gaining four
ability points, unless you are raising weaker ability scores (under
14). If you are raising abilities with a higher scores it costs more
than one point to gain the extra ability point (for example, it costs
three points to raise your score from a 17 to an 18).

And to further clarify her point:

As I said on the other thread - I
think there is some confusion here - you can't create a drow
character that will have the extra four points - all the other races
yes, drow no.

As for the concerns that you will be forced to re-roll all of your
non-drow characters I really don't think this will be the case. We're
talking about one extra ability point for your higher stats. Afer all,
it takes three points to raise from a 16 to a 17 and from a 17 to an
18. You could raise some of your lower skills by 1 or two points, but
that still won't overpower a character.

We're not making this change to force you to reroll. It's was intended
more for any empty character slots you might have lying around. You
don't have to reroll - it's not like people will be able to see if you
have 14 CON instead of 15.
