Vanguard: Saga of Heroes may have had a bad rap in the early days for being confusing for new players, but the team has made great strides in improving that aspect of the game. At one point or another, we were all new to the concept of gaming online in a massive game with a multitude of players from around the world. This week, Dalmarus brings you the game from a player that's not only completely new to the genre, but also happens to be his spouse. Has he discovered the key to every geek's hopes and dreams?

While not a complete novice to all games, this was my wife's first step into the MMOG arena. She's played (and loved) Sacred, Diablo I & II, Gauntlet: Dark Legends, and numerous other RPG (Role-Playing Game) Hack & Slash games. I thought previously getting into other games and later Vanguard would have been a natural progression, but so far, I’ve been wrong.
