Hunter's League Guides

With the recent influx of new players to the servers recently, what better set of quests to do guides for than the popular Hunter's League? The Hunter's League quests are not only a great opportunity to get some good grouping skills down in your late teens and early 20's, but they also offer a very impressive set of armor and weapon of choice, all of which is tailor made for each class! Enough jaw jacking though, let's get to the guides!

Neneler Jabifa2Rising in Rank

Neneler Jabifa was happy with your performance in his first task, but have you got what it takes to keep it up? When you talk with Neneler after completing Moving on Up, he seems a bit surprised. "You just became a member, and yet you already have the ambition to move up the ranks?" he says. Of course you want to move up the ranks! Does he have any idea who he's talking to? You're an adventurer of the highest class, seeking fame, glory, and power. Sitting around continuing to collect flames and vials is not your idea of fulfilling your destiny.

Neneler seems to agree and is actually pleased you have the ambition to move up the ranks quickly. Of course, just because he's happy to have met such a person doesn’t mean your going to get by without having to do all the menial tasks that all the other members had to go through to prove themselves. Fortunately for you, Neneler knows just the thing to assign you... another gathering quest. Yay.

Objectives

Dracosnap Shell (0/10)
Skrilien Hide (0/15)

Dracosnap Shell

Skrilien Hide

DracosnapNeneler wants you to go out into the wild and collect 10 Dracosnap Bones, and 15 Skrilien Hides. This particular gathering quest is actually pretty easy and seemed to go by much faster than the first quest did. Both mob types for this quest seemed to have dropped their intended item (bone or hide) on every kill. If it wasn't on every kill, the drop rate is awfully close to that, so it should go pretty quickly.

The Dracosnaps can be found on the beach to the northeast, the water past that, and finally on the island in the same direction. The only thing to pay attention to while hunting these is they seem to have a very short leash, so try not to pull them too far away from their spawn point, or they'll just return to and go back to full health. If you can find a friendly caster that has an Enduring Breath type of spell, that will make this part of the quest go all the quicker.

DracosnapThe Skirilien Hides can be gathered off the lizardmen on the island to the Northeast. They are plenty of them packed together in a small hut village on the eastern end of the island. Single or double pulling these targets is an easy matter and most classes should be able to solo this entire quest with very little problems. If you find yourself being just a touch too squishy for this part, grab a partner to duo with, or go a little further north and try to solo the lizards there. The lizards to the north tend to stand together for more than the hut dwellers do though, so be forewarned.

Once you have all the necessary body parts for Neneler Jabifa, head back to him to claim your reward. When you get back, he is impressed with your spirit and loyalty. The fact that you completed such a task without complaint (what he didn't hear won't hurt him) proves your loyalty to the Hunter's League in his eyes. You’re still not quite ready for a great bounty, but you're getting closer. As a conciliation prize though, enjoy your choice of an arm armor piece.

Rewards

6,000 Experience
