Lady Sirse - Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer Community Manager

Lady Sirse is happily married and lives in Nevada with her husband
and young son. She has two older daughters as well. After many moves and different
jobs, she has settled into writing and is enjoying every moment of it. She
has been at Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer since September 2005 as Community Manager.
Working closely with Sigil Games Online has been an experience that helps
her to bring the best of class information, news, interviews and community
topics to the website. She also has a love for the science fiction/ fantasy
genre. Many hours have been spent happily curled up with a novel by one of
her favorite authors, playing games online and off or traveling to medieval
reenactment events. She even taught herself to become proficient at sewing
Elizabethan period costume.

Niborea - Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer Community Manager

Niborea grew up with a love of art. Her background in art begins
with her mother who is an artist. While she was raising her kids (4 boys ages
24, 21, 15 and 12) she did not have the time, energy or desire to do any artwork.
Then, about a year after getting her first computer, her oldest son introduced
her to the world of Norrath. She began playing EQ in Nov. 1999. Not long after
starting EQ, she found herself in a guild and began creating various types
of signatures and web designs for guild members. A couple of years later she
found herself doing more web based graphics for the guild site. She found
a delightful program called Poser while surfing the net and it allowed her
to create likenesses of characters using models. Having recently quit EQ,
Niborea was introduced to Vanguard through a good friend from EQ. She has
been following the development since. She looks forward to stepping into the
world of Telon and becoming part of a whole new community while sharing her
artwork here at Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer.

Aunraye - Community Team Leader

Aunraye is 22-year-old grad students with plans to one day join
the ranks of the State Dept. She is currently working on her Masters Degree
in Public Policy and International Affairs. She started role-playing as a
sophomore in college when she found a few interesting sites. She has only
been playing MMOs for less than a year, but has found a love for them. She
has written articles for her college and middle school newspapers as well
as being an avid creative writer. She wishes she could have fit more creative
writing classes into her busy college schedule. She is looking forward to
working with the site and seeing the progress of Vanguard!

Wertaf - Community Team

Wertaf Taughe has been a rogue for a long time. Having his creation
in pen and paper games such as Dungeons and Dragons, he then traveled from
single player computer games into the world of MMOs. Everquest was a home
for several years before he began to be disillusioned with the practices of
the company running the game. Not able to leave behind the friends and community
that he has built there, he still occasionally logs in to visit. It’s
his goal now to stay active in this community until and after Vanguard: Saga
of Heroes is released.

Martuk - Content Team

Martuk has been involved in MMOs for many years. His first game
was Everquest. Since he departed Everquest he has played many of the current
MMOs on the market. World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Dark Age of Camelot, The
Matrix, Planetside, Star Wars Galaxy, and a few others. He loves his MMOs
maybe so much that it is unhealthy.J He tries to keep a clear perspective
as well as a fair one though often easier said than done. Generally he enjoys
the tanking class of the Warrior. Most of the time, he plays a barbarian warrior.
There is nothing better than being at the front line of battle and defending
your group from rampaging enemies.

Merriandra - Writing Team / Editor

Merriandra lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with her husband, her step-daughter, four greyhounds, and four pet rats. Merriandra has always been a writer, since her earliest memories, and compiled her first collection of original poems in the third grade. Merriandra is now a published poet, and is well on her way to finishing her first novel. In the meantime, she commutes to Providence, Rhode Island every day, where she works as a Budget Analyst for the Rhode Island Senate. Merriandra enjoys online gaming, reading an eclectic variety of authors from Karin Slaughter and John Connolly to Storm Constantine, listening to music (everything from country to a-ha), working with various greyhound adoption groups, and relaxing through art by painting or practicing calligraphy.

AnomalousSilence - Writing Team

AnomalousSilence, also known as AS, lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has two dogs, a cream colored toy poodle named Tra’Kola and an apricot colored teacup poodle named Sasse. They are adored and deeply loved by AS who is an animal lover. He enjoys hiking and being outdoors, surrounded by the purity of nature. Indoors he enjoys reading and writing. His two favorite authors are Tolkien and Salvatore, with his favorite non-fantasy book being Memoirs of a Geisha. AS is a heavy Role Player , actively participating in the Role-Play forum, and is a forum junkie. In past MMORPGs, which include EverQuest 1 and 2 and World of Warcraft, he was a wizard or mage. In Vanguard, however, he will be a Wood Elf Druid/Outfitter/Gleaner/Diplomat. AS is very intrigued on the way Sigil is handling the other two spheres as well as harvesting, and he plans on dedicating just as much time to the crafting and diplomacy spheres as the adventuring sphere. His character will be named Hiraesla Miyirahna. Hiraesla’s ongoing story can be found in the Fan Fiction section of the forums.

Mercurie - Writing Team

Mercurie has been writing since he was in junior high. Over the years he has published several articles in small press journals (translation--journals that don't pay money), two books (one by a small press journal and one self published), and one poem (in Cappers). He hopes one day to write the Great American Novel. Mercurie also blogs, making several entries to his blog each week. He has a love for old TV shows, movies, comic books, books, music, and anything English. Currently he lives in his hometown with his five cats and one turtle.
