Fans of the upcoming href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/taxonomy/term/1422"> style="font-style: italic;">Star Wars: The Old
Republic
should instantly recognize many of the spacefaring species depicted in
this fresh batch of concept art.  Released in an href="http://www.swtor.com/news/article/20090109_001">update
at the
official site earlier this week, BioWare also included a new group of
forum avatars, giving community members even more ways to show their
allegiance to the Republic or the Empire.
While not
specifically addressed in the update, the species
depicted in the concept art will most likely have bodies, although the
technology to allow for floating heads was certainly present during the
period in which the game is set.
