Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

According to a recently issued press release, the classic RPG series, The Legacy of Ys, is being given the online treatment. Although the initial release was poorly worded, general news site Neoseeker.com has a nice write-up of the contents of the PR with some background information and an attached video that weren't part of the Ys Online packaging. In short, it sounds like a fairly typical F2P MMO, but here's hoping we're wrong.

Here's a snippet:

The closed beta starts this month -- one can assume sign-up begins once maintenance on the website is complete.
