Crafting requires recipes in order to craft items for the particular vocation. Recipes can be obtained through a variety of means. You can purchase many recipes from vendors. More rare recipes can only be found from monster drops in dungeons. Of course, you can always trade recipes with other players. Many recipes require auxiliary materials in order to craft the item. These can be purchased from vendors as well, or acquired from monster drops.
