Hellgate's been in the works for years, and much of what's taken so long for it to gel is the sheer number of possibilities its world opens up. Ironically, Hellgate taps the same combination of tech and fantasy that made the Shadowrun RPG world so intriguing, while FASA Studios uses (or squanders, as some say) the Shadowrun license to create a squad-based online shooter.
