Turbine's Craig Alexander Talks About Why Console MMO Migration Is 'Inevitable'

Turbine believes that the migration of MMOGs to consoles is an inevitability. At this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference) Austin, Turbine's Vice President of product development, Craig Alexander, headed up a discussion about the possibility of an MMOG future on game consoles. Craig drew comparison to the the growth of the PC gaming strategy games genre and competitive online experience that many felt would never be popular on consoles, but with recent changes over the past few years, he likens the comparison to the future of MMOGs coming console growth.

At one point pundits were also convinced that console gamers would never be interested in strategy or competitive online experiences. Things have changed so much in the last few years that Turbine is betting on a whole new console world.
