Dragon Age: Origins will be getting the next chapter in its story with the Darkspawn Chronicles launching on May 18th, 2010. The latest add-on to BioWare's popular RPG will allow players to experience life on the darkside by playing as a Darkspawn. The new content pack will allow players to experience an alternate history to the Dragon Age story where their character actually dies during the joining ceremony. The player will then become a hurlock vanguard with the power to make thralls and command the forces of darkness.

Darkspawn Chronicles will be available on the box 360 for 400 Microsoft points and PC for 400 BioWare points on May 18th and on the PlayStation Network for £3.99/€4.99 with its launch date to be announced later.

EA fills a role at BioWare that has been vacated since the departure of co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka.
