Earlier today, rumors started to surface that APB (All Points Bulletin) developer Realtime Worlds had undergone significant layoffs impacting their MyWorld project. But some speculation put the layoffs at more than that, going so far as to suggest that APB itself could soon be placed on the market for sale. However, Realtime Worlds Studio Manager Colin Macdonald did issue a statement to Develop confirming that many of the MyWorld employees had been laid off as the game has yet to find a publisher, but he went on to assure players that the whole team continues to work on APB.

As always our best wishes go out to those affected by the layoffs.
