Square Enix has unveiled a new payment method to be implemented with Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) called Crysta. The new payment method will be available for North American accounts today with the beginning of the game's head start. Players of FFXIV will have the option to purchase Crysta in $5, $10, $20, $30, $50 and $100 blocks using a number of different payment options. Crysta can then be used to pay for your FFXIV gaming subscription and security tokens. Additional services for Crysta will be revealed at a later date.

Crysta is a billing system provided by Square Enix, Inc. which can be utilized by creating a Square Enix account. Customers can pay for services and content by purchasing Crysta through the Square Enix Account Management System website. Crysta may only be used for products and services in the territory where it was purchased.
