There may yet be hope for displaced players of the quickly demised APB (All Points Bulletin). According to Massively, the game's patcher is still updating news about game and a buyer may have been found. The message below was found in the game's patch notes and indicates that the Administration process is nearing its end and a buyer for the game appears to have been found.

"It's looking like there might be light at the end of the tunnel for APB. The end of the administration process is apparently close and there appears to be a buyer for the game."

While the name of the buyer has not been revealed, Massively noted that former Realtime Worlds Community Officer Ben Bateman's LinkedIn page now indicates that he is a Community Manager for Codemasters. So did Codemasters buy APB or did Ben just land a new job? We'll leave the job of speculating to you.
