A blood red moon is once again rising over Millennium City and that can only mean that the villainous Undying Lord Takofanes has returned. This weekend marks the return of the Blood Moon event for Champions Online and players will once again find themselves facing the Takofanes and his minions. During the Blood Moon event, can take part in several events, including a zombie apocalypse PvP event, a mission to save the fallen heroes and even face Takofanes for a chance at special rewards.

The Blood Moon event kicks off this today at 4:00pm PST and will continue through Sunday, February 27th. Champions Online made the switch to free-to-play last month, so if you don't have an account, simply sign up for one and download the client to get started playing.
