Mass Effect 3 Delayed Until Early 2012

Commander Shepard's epic showdown with the reapers will have to wait a while longer. According to a recent update on the BioWare Facebook page, Executive Producer Casey Hudson announced that Mass Effect 3 has will now release within the first three months of 2012.

Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.” – Casey Hudson, Executive Producer Mass Effect series

BioWare announced the third part of the Mass Effect saga during last year's Spike TV Video Game Awards and revealed a new trailer with a targeted release window of holiday 2011. But as we all know, games can be delayed and we'll have to wait just a little while longer for the final part of BioWare's epic trilogy.
