Star Trek Online Producer Delivers Season 4 Update in New "Engineering Report"

Star Trek Online (STO) Executive Producer Dan Stahl dropped by the STO forums today to deliver his latest "Engineering Report." Season 4 will be arriving for STO players tentatively on July 7th, bringing not only new episodic content, but also the reworked and re-balancing of ground combat weapons and kits. The changes should speed up the pace of ground combat.

Stahl emphasizes how well the new "Duty Officer" system is doing and how much promise the system holds. This and the integration of Vivox Voice to the game make for two highly requested features that should make many players happy if implemented correctly. There's quite a bit more and Stahl even included some other stuff in the works, so check out the latest update for all the details.

What happened to Season 3: Genesis and The Foundry? Oh they had to pull The Foundry in leiu of their new ‘update’.

Pull the plug and leave Star Trek to someone who knows what they are doing Cryptic.
